Yes please. I have requested this before but they said there was no need. But here is a few of my posts that would benefit, if @CAI's list is not enough. Basically we have entire tags of posts that could use this feature.

9 September 2015 Topic was: You're supposed to design a cover for 1984 by George Orwell in the style of one of the covers at this link: NYTimes - The best book covers of 2014 The dimensions of the book are 10.5cm x 17.5cm If you haven't read it, the backup book is Ghostbusters (in book form) Topic came from First Draft / JustVolley ...

I've declined this request as it's mentioned in the comments one image was questionable. Furthermore, your request is subjected to only an eight day period and doesn't consider the entire spectrum length of this SE site and if I recall the percentage of questionable imagery is slim to none. That said, the system, as you've pointed out, does flag ...

17 September 2015 Topic (borrowed from here as suggested by DA01): Go to Wikipedia, hit random. This first article you get is the name of your band. Go to random quotations, pick a quote. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page will be the title of your new album. Go to Flickr's "Explore the Last Seven Days" Creative ...

24 September 2015 Topic: The challenge: Design a t-shirt for GD.SE! I've put together a bunch of assets to try and help speed things along for you. You can download them here. The GD.SE assets file are a derivative of one that Dom put together with some added separations and notes. The rules: very loose. The shirt template is ...

I'm turning this on for you now. Note, there will be instances where syntax highlighting can't infer that highlighting should be used by the tags in use, in which case the moderators can simply link a specific syntax to a specific tag (which can be done on the tag wiki page for that tag). Hence, if you wanted javascript for the foo tag, you'd (as a mod) ...

Similar to setting text in all caps, ragged right edges make reading easier in most cases. The human brain sees not only characters, but shapes, including the overall shape of a word. This shape recognition carries a great deal of weight when reading. In fact, it's often why taht old tirck of mixnig letrtes in wrods alwos them to sitll be raed corertcely. :)...

It's worth noting that both favorite and ignored styles are applied, so you get the background color from the favorite and the lowered opacity from the ignored tag. You can override the style with a user stylesheet easily enough (if you don't know how, Google "[your browser] user stylesheet". On Chrome you can use something like Stylish, I believe most ...

YES The old colors were much better, we would love our old colors back.

You can already post SVG images, but you can't upload them. Here's an example <img src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/02/SVG_logo.svg" width="256"> Since Stack Exchange outsources their image hosting to imgur, I'm not sure how much control the devs will have over this (though I would love to have it!)

These seem like small, harmless changes that are slight improvements and bring no harm, so I see no reason not to just do this. The first one is definitely an improvement. Linking the word this is, in my book, a faux pas in the same league as <blink> or Comic Sans. It makes text harder to skim. Zach's new version is easy to skim. The second one is a ...

1 October 2015 Topic: Its nice making big designs or square designs but often we've got to work with less than ideal specs. Make a 160px wide by 600px tall Skyscraper ad (as defined by the IAB). For direction let's all make this ad for a Ford F-150. Press kit if anyone wants it https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/multimedia.ford-...

I've asked the powers at the Galactic Empire to see if we can get an answer wether we can qualify for this or not. I'm in favor but I am biased as I love scripting questions.

Posted on Community Promotion Ads (See full stats here) What about something like this, where we utilize our "true" colors to the fullest.

I propose to use two new close reasons: This question does not fall within the expertise of graphic designers. This particularly applies to software and hardware questions that are not specific to graphic-design tools – they may be suited for Super User. This is essentially a specified version of the blatantly off-topic close reason. It also captures ...

It's been discussed, and usually denied almost immediately. I personally am in favor of limiting anonymous edits where, say, most than 50% of the text has changed.

Anyone posing a question is absolutely free to change what answer is the accepted answer at any time. You can return 2 years from now and change the answer marked correct. There is an initial delay on marking something correct. I don't remember what it is. @Ryan state's its 15 minutes in the comment above. That sounds about right. If you are not posting ...

Welcome to the site and sorry for the inconvenience but as you stated in your question and just for clarity you assumed what the site was about and did not first read the FAQ? In regards to your print question it is in regards to print and not design? You say you're familiar with the SE model so in your question you ask for suggestions when our format is a ...

Done! We can always make improvements, but so far we have: Created a new tag called interface-design Merged into it the previously existing tags ui, user-interface, interface and gui-design Feel free to suggest changes!

Has it ever been discussed? Next/previous question button? Why was it shot down, if so? Not much traction or strong reasons why such a feature makes sense Most want to see questions that interest them Chronological order on here has very little meaning Am I the only one that would be interested in this? I won't say you're the only one but I can't ...

I've reworded Ryan's points a bit. I've left out the extra header, AFAIK the "How To Ask" can't be changed and having two headers feels a bit redundant to me. I've left out the last point. I can't think of a way to word it and not sound like a douche, and I don't think this is the right place to take issue with these questions; as I said here, I ...

There is a reason for that. It is not polite to move questions for migration without first consulting other moderators from other stack sites. We will ask if that question is in scope for them and if yes we then migrate it over. This is why its not offered because we dont want to start piping bad questions or questions that are off-topic to another stack ...

Note: This was intended as a comment and then got too long. But first of all: thank you for these words Dominic! :) I would like to see 4 mods for GD, and as you mention, maybe a mixture of oldies and new blood (rotation is good, so of course if all new mods are elected we ancient decrepit ones will happily share our knowledge on the fun world of internet ...
